16 Jan 1759. Division of the estate [slaves] of John Curd,named wife Elizabeth and the following children: John, William Joseph, Mary, Charles, James, Elizabeth, and Ann Curd. [Goochland records. Deed & Will Book 7, p.336]. 3 Sep 1758, the widow Elizabeth married Richard Oglesby. The estate division assigned to the widow her dower, three slaves, and divided the rest among the eight children. Commissioners were Willm. Miller, Joseph Pollard, and Richd. Pleasants.

slaves.
There do not seem to have been many Williams of this age. I have not found one who died Jessamine Co this early.

There was a William Curd who witnessed deeds for James and John Curd in 1795 in Fayette Co KY. He would likely be the same as the man who died in Jessamine Co which was formed out of Fayette Co in 1799.

Married (1) Mary Warren on 28 Sep 176? and (2) Mary Truehart 6 Oct 1772. Removed to Buckingham Co VA where he died.

Charles CURD died before 1788 in Kentucky.29

Charles moved to Kentucky prior to 1778, believed to have died there prior to 1788.

He apparently left heirs:
Burnt Records of Fayette Co KY; Vol. 2, p.309; LDS Microfilm #2111044. John Curd to Joseph Curd for love and good will. Parcel on Ohio River. 800 acres. Land located by William Kennedy for Charles Curd and returned in the name of the heirs of the sd Curd Dec'd. Signed: John Curd. Wit: Price Curd, Edmd Curd, Daniel Curd. Proved by witnesses - date is missing but falls within others dated 1795.
