Lucas and Black were give him clothing, shoes and pay his tax and promised they would not drive him in weather that would render him unhealthy and regard his health as their own property. Poindexter petitioned for payment of George's hire and his taxes. He also notes that the defendants failed to give said boy a hat, which would be worth 75 cts.
