103. John POINDEXTER⁵¹ was born about 1762 in Louisa County, Virginia.¹⁵⁶ He died about 1825 at the age of 63 in Fayette County, Kentucky.¹⁵⁶

Served in the Revolution in the Cavalry, Louisa Co. VA

John and family are said to have come to Kentucky in 1791, settling in Fayette Co near Athens. There is a John Poindexter listed in Fayette Co on the 1800 Tax Lists, "Second Census of Kentucky".

John POINDEXTER and Frances ARNETT were married on 14 July 1785 in Louisa County, Virginia.⁵¹ Frances ARNETT was born about 1765 in Louisa County, Virginia.⁵¹ She died about 1832 at the age of 67 in Clark County, Kentucky.⁵¹
