George was probably born in Jersey; possibly in England. Was with his father in VA in 1664. Tradition says brought with his father in 1657. Others have estimated his birth as 1660, some 10 years later.
Date of marriage is based on birth of oldest child.

The Poindexter book has the date of deaths for George II and his son reversed.
Believed that the Mary Poindexter who died in 1733 as recorded in the Parish register was this one.
