303. Robert Randolph SCOTT¹⁷⁹ was born on 17 August 1790. He died before 1850 at the age of 60 in Surry County, North Carolina.

Robert married 9 Apr 1818 to Mary "Polly" Martin, daughter of Valentine "Jack" Martin and Elizabeth Dalton.

Robert Randolph SCOTT and Mary MARTIN were married on 9 April 1818. Mary MARTIN, daughter of Valentine Clarkson MARTIN and Elizabeth DALTON, was born on 4 January 1798 in North Carolina. She died before 1850 at the age of 52.

Robert Randolph SCOTT and Mary MARTIN had the following children:

454	i.	Elizabeth SCOTT was born in 1820 in North Carolina. By 1850, the parents had died and four of the children were living together in surry Co, Hh 1783 Elizabeth Scott, age 30. Mary J., 23. Thomas M. 20. Martha M. age 16.
455	ii.	Ann Radford SCOTT was born on 28 January 1821 in Surry County, North Carolina. She died on 21 September 1904 at the age of 83 in Stokes County, North Carolina. Ann Radford married 30 May 1842, Matthew Phillips. .
456	iii.	Charlotte SCOTT was born on 4 August 1823 in Surry County, North Carolina. She died on 7 July 1897 at the age of 73. Charlotte married George Washington Barr, son of Rev. John and Annie Ray Barr.

458	v.	Thomas M. C. SCOTT was born on 22 July 1830 in Surry County, North Carolina. Thomas married Louisiana Wall.
459	vi.	Martha M. SCOTT was born on 29 November 1834. Martha is said to have first married a Wall by whom she had a son Thomas; she married 2nd Solomon Wiley Hauser.
