4. Johan Niclaus PICKEL was christened on 14 September 1683 in Bad Durkheim, Pfalz Bayern, Germany.2 He died after 1751 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1

Johan Niclaus PICKEL and Maria Johanna Agatha CLEMENZ were married on 4 August 1716 in Bad Durkheim, Pfalz Bayern, Germany.1 Maria Johanna Agatha CLEMENZ was born in 1694 in Bad Durkheim, Pfalz Bayern, Germany.1 She died on 14 April 1774 at the age of 80 in Long Valley, Morris County, New Jersey.1

Johan Niclaus PICKEL and Maria Johanna Agatha CLEMENZ had the following children:

Catherine married William Croft/Kroft whose will called Frederick Pickle the brother of his wife Catherine.

Johann Maria PICKEL was born on 28 March 1718 in Bad Durkheim, Pfalz Bayern, Germany.1

Frederick PICKEL was born in 1720. He died on 4 April 1820 at the age of 100 in Tewksbury, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1

Franz Willem "Francis" PICKEL1 was born in 1722.1

No marriage or death date or children attributable to Franz. He is believed to have been the father of a Nicholas Pickle who was a Loyalist and migrated to Canada after the Revolution.

Francis Bickel was naturalized on 20 Aug 1755.
