The 1850 census lists him in Salt Lake Co. UT as age 45, a farmer, born in
Vermont. He has a wife Elizabeth aged 24, two children listed also: Ann aged
12 yrs and Samuel aged 1.
I have not seen the following for myself:
In the 1856 Utah Territory Census Seeley Owen is
listed living in Provo. With him are Lydia, (maybe 1st wife); Elizabeth;
Ellen (probably Helen); Paul; Anne Samatha; Seeley, Jr; Jane; Emeline;
Samuel; Barbary; Hannah; Ameilia; Melissa; Meinerva; Jacob and Sylvister.
Seeley Owin Sr was Morman and may have had more than one wife. [I see no evidence of plural marriages in the census records. Seeley may have been married prior to his marriage to Elizabeth, but if so, she must have been deceased]
