Mary's death is seen in online databases as 27 Apr 1849, but she is listed in the above census, seemingly alive. Had she died after 1 June 1849, then the enumerator should have listed her and listed her in the mortality census as well. She is not found there. She doesn't appear in 1860 with the children.
Mary PICKEL and Minor LYNN were married on 14 May 1835.1 Minor LYNN was born in 1812 in Virginia. He died by 1855 at the age of 43.
Although this record seems strange and may have no relationship - a Minor Lynn, born 1811, was buried 22 Oct 1853 in the Charity Hospital Cemetery, Orleans Parish, LA.
