The 1826 Chattell Tax for Perry Twp, Franklin Co, Ohio, lists Minor Pickle. [Also Stephen Avery]

In 1830, Minard Pickle was in Perry Twp, Franklin Co, Ohio. He was listed as age 40-50 with 1 male 15-20 and one under 5 - the females weren't transcribed. He was 43. I believe the male under 5 was Isaac and he may also have had an older son, the one 15-20 born between Margaret and Anna.
He was next door to Benjamin West who had married Anne Avery, a daughter of Daniel Avery.

In 1840, Minor Pickle is listed in Precinct #2 of Schuyler Co Illinois. 1m 50-60 [Minard], 1m 10-15 [Isaac], 1m 20-30 [older son as above], 1f 50-60 [Barbara] and 1f 10-15 [Betsey].

Served on a Petit Jury, March 1840 and was paid $4.50 for six days.

Minor Pickle is listed in the Illinois Public Domain Land Tract Sales with a total of 280 acres in Schuyler Co.

Isaac PICKLE1,9,10,11 was born in 1823 in Ohio.10 He died on 31 August 1906 at the age of 83 in Schuyler County, Illinois.10

Isaac is a bit of a puzzle. The records of Marietta Pickell give birth and place as 1810, Hunterdon Co, NJ. However, in Schuyler Co IL in 1860, there is an Isaac Pickle living in the household of Philo Avery, son of Margaret Pickle Avery - age 25 and born in Ohio. Isaac appears in 1870, living with Eliza Avery Irwiin, a daughter of Margaret Pickle Avery - age 40, but born in Ohio. He was still with the Irwin's in 1880, age 50, b. Ohio, parents b. NJ.

I believe he is not the son in the earliest censuses, but is one of the younger children. He apparently had a mental disability.
