Ruth married Michael Wisner, 7 Nov 1761, Cane Creek, Orange Co NC. Michael was born 4 Apr 1740, Stuttgart, Wurtemberg, Germany, son of Johann and Ursula Weisner. Michael died about 1771 in Rowan Co NC. Ruth married second John Hinshaw, 24 Apr 1776, New Garden Monthly Meeting. John was born 11 Nov 1747, Grange, County Tyrone, Ireland. Ruth had twelve children.

Ruth PIKE and Michael WEISNER were married on 7 November 1761 in Cane Creek, Orange County, North Carolina. Michael WEISNER23 was born in 1740. He died in 1773 at the age of 33 in Rowan County, North Carolina.
Michael was born the 4th month (June) of 1740. Believed to be buried Deep River Friends Church Cemetery, High Point, Guilford, NC.
From what evidence is available in Michael Weisner's will, probated 1773, Rowan County, NC, and deed records of Stokes County, NC, Michael was a neighbor of his brother-in-law, Issac Williams. Issac married Rachel Pike, sister to Ruth Pike Weisner.
In his will probated in 1773, Michael willed his property as follows: Micajah, lower end of plantation adjoining the Issac Williams' plantation; John, the middle section; William, the upper section; his spouse, Ruth, and daughters, Ruth and Abigail, to live on the plantation and receive other compensations.
Other early land transactions involving Ruth and her children are also noted in the public records of NC.
1. The sale of property of Issac Williams to Micajah Weisner. This tract,
sold to Micajah, consisted of 350 acres.
2. The honoring of a claim of Robert Walker and Sam Cummings, by the State of
NC, for 300 acres on the waters of Muddy Creek, adjoining the entry
(Moravian), then running up the creek for quantity, including Isaac Williams'
and John Hinshaw's plantation, August 20, 1778.

Ruth PIKE and John HINSHAW were married on 27 April 1776 in Guilford County, North Carolina. John HINSHAW23, son of Jesse HINSHAW and Abigail MARSHILL, was born in 1747 in County Tyrone, Ireland. He died on 22 September 1800 at the age of 53 in Stokes County, North Carolina.
John was born the 11d 8m [Oct] 1747. He was the son of Jesse Hinshaw, b. 25 Nov 1720, County Tyron, Ireland, d. 29 Apr 1797, Orange Co, NC - buried Cane Creek Cemetery and Abigail Marshill, b. ca 1721, d. 18 Mar 1806, the daughter of Benjamin Marshill & Ruth Bell. [Although Abigail's parents were not traced on "The Quaker Collection" website, other Marshills that married into the Hindshaw family were also from Ireland.
John and Ruth Pike were married at the New Garden Monthly Meeting, 1776.
