In the birth record of Rosela Pearl, she is listed as the 4th child of this family. This child born after the State Census of 1876. There were two daughters listed in the Census that are probably daughters of John and his first wife.
The Comstock book lists her name as "Etta" Pearl. 1900 Census has Rosetta.

Rosetta Pearl BROWN and Ezra CARTWRIGHT were married on 6 December 1900.¹³³ Ezra CARTWRIGHT was born on 4 August 1881.¹³³ He died on 16 October 1949 at the age of 68.¹³³
