10. William MCKINNIE1,9 died about 1739.9 William died between the time his father Barnaby wrote his Last Will & Testament in August of 1737 and December of 1739. Edgecombe Precinct/County Deed Book 1, p.312. 3 Dec 1739. Barnaby McKinnie states that his last will and testament bequeathed to his SON William McKinnie 200 acres on which he lived. William has since departed this life. Barnaby, for 5 shillings, gives the 200 acres to his GRANDSON Barnaby Mckinnie son of the said William. If the grandson Barnaby dies without issue, the land is to descend to GRANDDAUGHTER Mourning McKinnie sister of the said Barnaby.

William MCKINNIE had the following children:



Barnaby MCKINNIE1 was born before October 1736.10 He died before January 1765.23 Mentioned in will of his uncle, Barnaby McKinnie Jr. He died before Jan 1765 as stated in Halifax Deed Book 9, p.292 when his sister Mourning sold his fee talied land.
