HOLDERNESS and Ina HUMPHREY were married on 4 March 1886 in Jones County, Texas.198,231 Ina HUMPHREY10,52, daughter of Robert HUMPHREY and Nancy Jane OWENS, was born on 11 April 1871 in Sedalia, Pettis County, Missouri.10,232 She died on 9 January 1948 at the age of 76 in Eagle, Eagle County, Colorado.232

Found in 1900 Deaf County TX Census. Widow living with her parents. Worked as a waiter in their hotel.

She married (2) Mark Paul Finnicum.

Luke Kee, the Chinaman incarcerated in the Claude jail charged with a heinious crime committed in this town some time ago, is to come up before Judge Wallace for trial at the term of court held at Claude next week, his case being called for Monday. The following witnesses have been subpoenaed from here: Mrs. Robert Humphrey, Mrs. M. P. Finnicum, Katie Holderness, Dr. E. W. Tinsley, Dr. R. M. Johnson, Jack Harwell, and Sheriff T. J. Inmon.

In 1930, the Finnicums were living in Mesa Co Colorado. Mark and Ina were both 58; they married when he was age 30. Jason R, grandson, born in New Mexico, age 5, lived with them. As did Kate Holderness, now age 41.

Kate HOLDERNESS52,232 was born on 2 June 1888 in Texas.10,232 She died in March 1942 at the age of 53 in Mesa County, Colorado.232

Kate was trampled by horses as a toddler. Her mother carried her around on a pillow for sometime afterward. She eventually grew better although she remained mentally handicapped. Spent some time in a nursing home before her death.

Elizabeth "Beth" HOLDERNESS226 was born in May 1894 in Texas.10 She died in 1910 at the age of 16 in Dawson, Colfax County, New Mexico.

Elizabeth, called Beth, died in N.M. at about 16 years of age of diphtheria.
