John McBee married Susannah Breaden on 16 Dec 1815, Grainger Co according to one of the marriage books - perhaps the name misread. William Breaden was bondsman. Or perhaps she was a young widow.

I've been off the list for a while, am now trying to tidy up what information I have. I find a few places of birth for Israel, does anyone know for sure by now where he was born? I believe Nancy's father was Shadrach Hale. My question is which one? I find a few of them when searching.
