Here is my Pedigree. Only my direct ancestors will be found here. Please go back to the homepage, "Leaves of the Tree" for my research on individual surnames. I have proved the majority of my direct ancestors with primary or multiple secondary sources. I do not research across the Atlantic, but have incorporated some research from others. The notes found in the surname files will explain discrepancies, doubts, and sources.
I was born Karen Kay Adamson. My mother divorced and remarried when I was age six; her second husband, Joe McKim, legally adopted me and had my surname changed to his. My husband is deceased; I have three children, eight grandchildren. I have been researching in earnest since 1992, although I had been saving "stuff" for years.
