Buried in the Chitwood Cemetery. Funeral services at the M.E. Church by Rev. C. F. Siler.
Her obituary is a puzzle is that it lists her name as Miss Elizabeth Isabelle Brown. States that her husband and two sons preceded her in death. [Later information about five marriages reveals why she might have been listed with her maiden name. Her grave marker is E. I. Barnett.)

WOOD, was born on 6 January 1856 in Lawrence County, Missouri.^59,119 He died on 14 June 1904 at the age of 48 in Rocky Comfort, McDonald County, Missouri.¹¹⁹

[Have seen the name as "Beverly" but it is Bevly in the Court records of McDonald County and his descendants spell this way.]

Eliza Isabel "Belle" BROWN and John H. CARTER were married on 25 May 1905.²⁴ John H. CARTER was born in 1860 in Missouri. 1910 McDonald Co MO Census; Richwood Twp, p.145a & b. John H. Carter, age 50, married twice, 4 years to Eliza. He was born in MO. Living with them was son Hurley, age 3, and Eliza's daughter Rosa age 12 and son Dennia A., age 18.
