14. Thurza JONES was born on 27 August 1823 in Sangamon County, Illinois.¹ She died on 11 March 1904 in Linn County, Missouri.¹ In 1880, Thurza says her father born in VA; mother in NC.
1900 Census. Thurza lives with son William and his family.

Thurza JONES and Thomas BROWN were married on 18 February 1840.^1,2 Thomas BROWN^2,34 was born in 1822 in Missouri.²

Paul Barker had 1841 for year of marriage, but they appear to be already married and living in Henry Co, IA in the 1840 Census.

The REFLECTIONS book compiled for the Centennial of Purdin, MO states that Thomas had married Thursia Jones, a "native of Wales". This is obviously not so.
