17. William J. JONES^17,42,49,50 was born on 11 June 1814 in Kentucky.⁴⁹ He died on 27 May 1878 at the age of 63 in Dade County, Missouri.⁴⁹

Married Mary M. Lollar [2 Nov 1811 - 5 Mar 1902] in Kentucky. Both buried Antioch Cemetery, Dade Co.

William J. and Mary first appear in Dade Co in 1860 - their youngest child, Virginia, 8 years old, was born in Kentucky, so they did not move to Missouri as early as some of the other families. There is a Polly Jones in the Dade Co 1880 census.

Virginia E. Jones married Ephraim Shrum, 7 Oct 1875 in Dade Co MO. Ephraim probably a son of John Shrum who married Elizabeth Jones, by John's first marriage.
According to Jeannie Miyama, a Dade County Researcher, the death certificate of Ephriam stated his parents were John Shrum & Caroline Thomason.

1880 Dade Co MO Census, Center Twp. Found a Polly Jones, age 63, b. KY living alone near George & Luana. The age is off a few years - she should have been 68.

William J. JONES and Mary M. LOLLAR were married. Mary M. LOLLAR, daughter of Reuben LOLLAR and Rebecca COLLIER, was born on 2 November 1811 in Kentucky. She died on 5 March 1902 at the age of 90.
