61. Ruby Lee DILLARD was born on 18 November 1911 in Texas.⁵⁵ She died on 27 September 2008 at the age of 96 in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas.⁵⁴

Don Haden remembered this name. Charlene Parks thought some kin of Fonnie & remembered they lived in Dallas - she did find Ruby living in a nursing home.
Found in Lois Haden's keepsakes: Newspaper Clipping: Hugo, OK, Sept 18. Marriage licenses, recently issued to Texas couple at the Choctaw county court house: Lemuel Huffines and Ruby Dillard both of Ladonia. (no year given - in a photo album containing dates 1930-31-32)

Ruby Lee DILLARD and Lemuel D. HUFFINES were married. Lemuel D. HUFFINES⁵⁶, son of Will HUFFINES and Willie [HUFFINES], was born on 1 May 1899 in Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas.^57,58 He died on 9 March 1971 at the age of 71 in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas.

There was a Hershel Huffines, born 1907 living in Ladonia. He had two siblings, both older. Ruby is said to be born before 1920 (older than James Fry b. 1920) and Huffines was somewhat older. Hershel married Sadie Davis. I have not discovered any connection.

Charlene Parks' letter from Ruby Huffines gave date of death of Lemuel.

His death certificate states his father was Will J. Huffines; mother was Mary W. Milner. His occupation was that of a welder with U-Haul Company. Ruby was the informant.
