My dear cousin:
Although I have made several attempts to write in you "mem" book, and have never finished my job. But not knowing much to say I'll do my best.
I'll always think of you as a true and trusted cousin. And as we have had so many good times, I'll not call any special attention to them. Always remember you have a true friend in your Cousin.
Ruby Lee Dillard
P.S. I hope for you much success and happiness in your life to come
Be a good girl
Live a good life,
Marry a worthy boy
Be a good wife
When you marry
And live on a hill
Send me a kiss
By the whipporwill.
Forget Me Not.
