I believe this was a 2nd marriage for Shelton Harrison as well. In the 1870 census there appears to be a "blended" family. The children Samuel, Godfrey, & Elizabeth that were with Leannah Isaacs in 1860 are in the household, ages 16, 13, and 11. Then there is Sarah, age 13 (same as Godfrey), John age 12, Hiram age 10 [the three children with Shelton in 1860] and Lafayette age 8. Then a gap in ages of the children before: Mary age 2 and Nelly 8/12. It appears to me that there are 3 of hers, 4 of his, and 2 of theirs. The 1880 census then reveals 4 more children born to Shelton & Leannah.

Shelton Baker HARRISON and Angeline [HARRISON] were married circa 1855. Angeline [HARRISON] was born in 1836 in Kentucky.

Shelton Baker HARRISON and Leannah LAKES were married about 1867.¹⁸ Leannah LAKES, daughter of Carter LAKES and Eady SKINNER, was born in 1834 in Kentucky.³⁹

Shelton Baker HARRISON and Leannah LAKES had the following children:
