Third Generation

15. Philadelphia HARMON4 was born in 1816 in Indiana.

Philadelphia is not a proved child of Richard. She married Samuel Sargent, 10 Jun 1831, Boone Co IN. They had as many as 10 children.
Databases online show her with a marriage to John W. Dunning, 18 Aug 1881, and then to John W. Baker, 9 Apr 1885 - both in Hancock Co, IN

Philadelphia HARMON and Samuel SARGENT were married on 10 June 1831 in Boone County, Indiana. Samuel SARGENT, son of John SARGEANT and Mary DICKERSON, was born in 1812 in Kentucky.

I have a problem placing Samuel in this family - If John and Mary's ages as 54, in 1850 were correct, I doubt that they were having a child as early as 1812. Perhaps Samuel was instead a younger brother to John. Definitely more research needed. Some online databases have solved this by backing up the ages of John and Mary by 10 years or so.
