94. Celia HARDIN^118,119 was born in 1794. She died in 1854.¹²⁰

[I have seen Celia listed as "Merry Celia". I believe this to be an error picked up from the lack of commas in the will of her father William Hardin. Her sister Amelia was married to Horatio Merry.]

[I am guessing that Milton was married to a daughter of Celia's and that Laura is yet a third daughter.]

Celia HARDIN and William DAVIDSON were married on 3 June 1810 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky.³⁹ William DAVIDSON³⁷ was born in 1787.¹²⁰ He died in 1839.

237	iii.	Laetitia DAVIDSON was born in 1814. She died on 9 November 1837 in Hancock County, Kentucky. Laetitia married Robert H. Cox, 29 Sep 1833. She is buried in the Hawesville Cemetery. They are said to have had two children: Mary Ellen, b. 1834, and Caroline, b. 1837. The youngest said to have lived only a few weeks. Robert remarried. 1850 Census. Hancock Co KY Hh 38 Robert H. Cox, age 45, Carpenter, b. VA Harriet, age 30, b. KY Mary E. 15. Letitia C. age 8 [probably Harriet's child] Elizabeth Ashcroft, age 22. John Moon, age 15. Robert was living near his brother-in-law Nestor Davison.
238	iv.	Jane DAVIDSON was born in 1816. She died in 1849. Jane married Milton L. Cooper. She died before the 1850 census and he and their daughter were living with Jane's mother. 1850 Census. 242	viii.	Laura E. DAVIDSON was born in 1826. Laura married William Neikirk in Hawesville KY. They apparently had only a single daughter. Neikirk, age 24 b. KY. Mary T. age 2. A "Post-it" Note on the webpage stated that Laura's name was Laura Enfield Davison and she was born 12 Jul 1825. William Neikirk was a Methodist minister for fifty-one years. He was born 29 Oct 1819 and died 22 Oct 1894. Their daughter Mary was born 29 May 1848. She married Edward Young Penick in 1868 and died 10 Jun 1926. Mary is buried Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon, Marion Co KY. Laura, age "26" [the ages are placed in parenthesis] - either they did not give the information or the enumerator didn't believe them! And William's occupation is listed as painter. Living with them was William Carrie, age 27, boarder.
