Served in Civil War - 7th MO Union Cavalry, Company I. Discharged from the army 27 Feb 1863 because of chronic Hepatitis. Discharge claims he was 38 years of age - 5 feet 10 inches, fair complexion, hazel eyes and black hair. Enlisted 7 Aug 1862.
