Vol. 1, p.353 William Venable Haden built a colonial brick home two miles south of Evington, named Belmont. He died without a will. Belmont went to daughter Emilia & the land was divided among his sons.

The Bedford Museum next door to the courthouse has Cemetary surveys that can be copied. The Walnut hill cemetary (their cemetary #1209) is the one that I researched. The survey lists Emelia Leftwich, wife of Wm. V. Haden Dec 12, 1814-Dec 26, 1880.
