Thank you so much for all of your diligence and hard work researching
our history! My name is Renee Haden, daughter of Rudolph Haden, son of
Joseph Haden who was the son of Richard Garnett Haden. Because of your
site I was able to find all of the information I need to continue my
research on my father's family. I have found photos of Andrew Jackson
Haden and his wife Sarah as well as those of Richard and his wife Mary
"Molly" Haden (nee Mavity). I am putting it all together for my father
for Christmas. And I couldn't have done it without all of your hard
work.

The 1860 census lists two sons: one named "R. G. Haden" age 11, and immediately under him is " Richd G." age 9. These names would appear to be the same.

Richard Garnett HADEN and Mary MAVITY were married on 24 December 1882 in Johnson County, Nebraska. Mary MAVITY was born on 27 April 1860 in Missouri. She died on 7 May 1944 at the age of 84 in Jefferson County, Colorado.
