25. William BLAKEY123 was born on 16 October 1756.22 He died in 1813 at the age of 57 in Cumberland County, Kentucky.1

Deed from Benjamin Shepherd to William Blakey also presented in court session of 9 May 1797 and sworn to by oath of James Haden [Logan Co Court Order Book 1]
[Warren Co was formed out of Logan in 1796, then Barren Co formed out of Warren & Green in 1798. This is likely the same property later given as in Barren Co.]

In 1799 lived in Barren County KY Dripping Spring Baptist Church formed at his home 3 Feb 1798. Rev. Robert Stockton was his brother-in-law.

Cumberland Co KY DB B, 1813 William & Betsey Blakey sold land to Tandy Trice of Buckingham Co VA.
DB C, 1815 Elizabeth Blakey, widow of William, gave power of Attorney to Charles Yancy of Buckingham Co VA to secure land and interest of her father Samuel Spencer and sister Sally Spencer, both dec'd. Her mother's name was Mary.
DB C, 1817 Betsey Blakey, widow of William, sold to James W. Taylor [whose wife was a Stockton] She also gave power of attorney to Mark Wilson of Halifax Co VA in reference to her late father's land - Samuel Spencer, dec'd.
