The "History of Albemarle County" book states William Hopkins wife was Elizebeth Moon, daugher of Jacob Moon, but gives many of these same children and their spouses. I have Elizabeth Moon married to his son William in 1789 - this date would not work out to be this William.
Mary HADEN and William HOPKINS were married about 1765.3 William HOPKINS58, son of Arthur HOPKINS and Elizabeth PETTUS, was born about 1740.59 He died before 1820 at the age of 80 in Albemarle County, Virginia.60
