I suspect I found a record in the U.S. Register of Civil, Military & Naval Service, 1915 employees of the federal government. War Department, Office of the Chief of Engineers, Galveston, Texas. H. H. Aden was listed as "Master" with a salary of $2100.00
World War I Draft Registration dated 12 Sep 1918. Henry apparently decided to reverse his names - he is listed as Hopkins Henry Haden. His address was Box 311, Freeport, Brazoria Co, Texas. He was age 40, born 12 Feb 1878. He was a State Branch Pilot for Freeport Sulphur Transportation Co., whose home office was 61 Broadway, NY. His wife was Mrs. Annie Laurie Haden. He was described as short, medium built, blue eyes, dark hair.

Mathews in 1966, Aunt, of Houston, stated she was Ruby Fay Haden; her father was Hopkins Henry Haden; and her mother was Annie Laurie Matthews. Ruby was born in Houston.

Henry's aunt, Mrs. Mildred Mathews made affadavit in 1965 to correct his birth certificate and add his given names - she listed both Henry and his father as Hopkins Henry Haden. Mother was Annie Lauie Matthews. The original certificate listed their address as 109 York and said that the father, H. H. Haden was capt of a Drudge.
Henry married Lois Margaret Noble (1922-1980).

Mansel was lost at sea during World War II; he was on a coast guard vessel that sank. He is buried in the family plot at LaMarque, TX [note: probably a memorial - I'm not sure the bodied was ever recovered]
