In later records, Sarah's name is spelled various ways. Looks mostly like Hurtz in the 1860 census when she was living with her brother William. It was transcribed as "Herby" by the WPA when her uncle Stephen S. Murrell left her $1000.

William Murrell had 4 slaves in 1860, Franklin co TN. It appeared to be a family with a female, age 24, a male 19, two young boys, ages 4 and 2; all listed as mulatto.
Sarah Hurley also shown with three slaves - a female age 26, a young girl age 6 and a two-year-old boy.
