Superintendent of Willow Wild Cemetery for Years Died Friday Night.
E. D. Haden, superintendent of Willow Wild cemetery for a number of years, died last night at his home on West Seventh street. He was 64 years old at the time of his demise.
For a number of years Mr. Haden had been in poor health and for a time was bedridden. Friday night he ate supper and then went into another room, remarking at the time to his wife that he felt better than he had in sometime. He sat down in a chair and was dead in a few moments.
E. D. Haden had lived in Fannin county for a number of years. He had farmed and perhaps done other work. Then he took the job of superintendent of grands and buildings at the court house.
E. D. Haden was born in Kentucky. He came to Texas when a boy and had made this state his home ever since. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. G. T. Carpenter of near Dodd City, and Mrs. Mattie Campbell of Goliad, Texas. There is one brother, Bob Haden, of Temple, Texas. Of his immediate family Mr. Haden is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mary Frances and Mildred Haden, and one son, Buddie Haden. There is one adopted daughter, Miss Adeline Haden...
The funeral for Mr. Haden will be held at the residence at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial at Willow Wild Cemetery.
