Joseph Anthony HADEN and Elizabeth LEDBETTER were married on 24 November 1870 in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama.533,933 Elizabeth LEDBETTER548, daughter of John LEDBETTER and Martha GLOVER, was born on 12 March 1853 in Madison County, Alabama. She died on 4 April 1892 at the age of 39 in Madison County, Alabama.
Ledbetters of Virginia. Elizabeth is shown as Martha Elizabeth Ledbetter, youngest child of James Wesley Ledbetter (1810-1895 at Anniston, AL) who was a son of Ephraim and Hester (Smith) Ledbetter, Ephriam a son of Joel Ledbetter Sr and wife Kitty.
Joseph Anthony HADEN and Elizabeth LEDBETTER had the following children:
Elsie Kate HADEN was born in October 1872 in Alabama. She died in July 1957 at the age of 84 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
The 1900 census says she was born in Oct of 1873 - her brother Robert's WW I Draft card states he was born in Nov of 1873. One of them was wrong....
Said buried Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.
Robert Raymond HADEN was born on 18 November 1874.

Found his World War I Draft Registration. Robert Raymond Haden of 15 Hardee, Kirkwood, DeKalb Co, GA, was born 18 Nov 1873, and was 44 years old. He was a machinist for Entral of Georgia RR. Wife Agnes Mary Haden was his nearest relative. He was tall & slender with blue eyes, light hair.
Married Agnes Weatherly and had daughters Annie Louellyn and Elizabeth.
John W. HADEN was born on 27 September 1876. He died on 6 December 1938 at the age of 62.
Married Louise Wymer.
Mamie HADEN was born in January 1879 in Alabama.
Don Glover lists a Mary Ann who died 1932 in Atlanta - she doesn't seem to appear in the census. Was she actually Mamie?
Joseph Tate HADEN.
Frances Lou HADEN was born in November 1883 in Alabama. She died on 19 December 1938 at the age of 55 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
Although her name seems to be Lou or Lona in 1900 and 1910 - this is apparently Frances who was later married to a Fraser and died 19 Dec 1938 in Atlanta, age 45. Her parents stated to be Joe Haden and Elizabeth Ledbetter. What's odd is that she should have been 55 instead of 45 - there was no child younger than 11 in the household in 1900.
Georgia Deaths, 1928-1939, at FamilySearch.org.
Bessie HADEN was born in September 1885 in Alabama.
Was Bessie of the 1900 census actually Elizabeth Hughes Haden? Don Glover has that name, but gave her the same date of birth as sister Jemmie - Jemmie is in the 1900 census, born in May 1889, Bessie was born two years earlier. No sign of twins.
Elizabeth is said to have married Henry Thompson McGee and had children Joseph Haden & Irma Gray McGee.
