21. George BLAKEY^{92,112,113,114,115} was born on 22 November 1749 in Albemarle County, Virginia.^111,116 DAR book gives birthplace as Culpeper Co VA. He died on 8 September 1842 at the age of 92 in Rural Choice, Logan County, Kentucky.

Their home in Albemarle (later Buckingham) County was near Muddy Creek. When the family removed to Logan County, KY there was another Muddy Creek nearby. They moved from Davidson County, TN, where they had gone with the Whitsitts and Menees, to Logan County, KY April 1795. First appears on Logan Co Tax List in 1795 and his only declaration is one white male over 21.

George BLAKEY and Margaret "Peggy" WHITSITT were married on 10 January 1787 in Henry County, Virginia.¹¹² Margaret "Peggy" WHITSITT¹¹⁷, daughter of William WHITSITT and Eleanor "Ellen" MENEES, was born on 26 October 1767 in Amherst County, Virginia.^118,119 She died on 25 October 1859 at the age of 91 in Rural Choice, Logan County, Kentucky.¹¹⁸

In the 1850 Census, Margaret lives with her daughter Pamela Haden, wife of William.
