He then engaged in farming in the same county for about ten years, when he removed to Muhlenburgh County, KY., where he resided for some eight years; thence removed to Christian County, remaining about five years; thence in 1885, to Providence, Tenn., where he now resides. October 26, 1967/Savanna, IL My father, Rodney Earl Hayden, Jr. never knew any of his uncles. He is trying to locate their decsendants. He doesn't think William H was married or had any children so that leaves Eugene S. Haden, Jr and Walter Haden. Earl Sr. had changed the spelling of his last name to HAYDEN, so there is a chance that Walter and Eugene Jr. did the same. Supposedly, Eugene Jr. was in the loan business at or before the time of his death in the Chicago area, possibly Maywood or Melrose Park. Eugene Jr., WIlliam and possibly Walter, operated a car dealership in Peoria in the 1920s, called Hayden or Haden Brothers. My dad says you can still make out the painted advertisement on the side of one of the old brick buildings in downtown Peoria to this day. Walter, or possibly the 5th Haden son may have been killed in a train accident out west, possibly in Oregon prior to 1900.
