Charles C. was Manager of a Department Store. Kate was 37; had been 18 at their marriage. Katrina, age 17 and Martha J. age 11, still at home.

There is a stone in Restland Memorial Park where Katie's husband and stepmother are buried with the name Kate Muddy Low, 1892-1987. Texas Death Certificates online end with 1986. This was approximately her birth year. The Texas Death Index on had a date of death for Kate Low, 15 Feb 1987, in Dallas. The Social Security Death Index shows a birth of 30 September 1892, death Feb 1987, age 95, in Dallas.

Carroll appeared to be living with James & Emma in the 1910 Census. Relationship appears to be "Son to wife". I believe he is Emma's son by her first husband.

He died of a coronary occlusion (heart attack). He was born 17 Dec 1889 in Caddo, OK, and was 56 years, 3 months, 3 days at death. He worked for Higginbotham-Bailey-Logan as a traveling salesman. His father was Charles Low, born in Connecticut; his mother Emma Sims Haden. Mrs. Lyle West of Cleveland TX was the informant. He was buried at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on March 21st.
