Elizabeth "Betsie" GENTRY and Rev James HAGGARD were married. Rev James HAGGARD, son of Nathaniel HAGGARD and Elizabeth GENTRY, was born in 1759 in Albemarle County, Virginia. He died on 2 August 1843 at the age of 84 in Gardner, Sangamon County, Illinois.

James and Betsie were first cousins. He said to have had Rev War service. He is believed to be buried Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, Sangamon Co, IL
