Silas K. GARNER40,41 was born on 19 December 1846 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.40 He died on 5 February 1908 at the age of 61 in Richland County, Wisconsin.40

There was a pparently an earlier marriage for Silas. Silas Garner, son of Jacob & Louisa Garner, born Boone Co, IN married Mary F. McKinney, 17 Oct 1869, Richwood, Richland, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Burell & Nancy M. McKinney. There seems to have been a divorce as she also has other marriages.

Silas Garner is the ancester of Larry Brown. He married Angeline McMillen.
From Larry:
I have a photograph of five generations, Silas’s wife Angeline Garner with me sitting on her lap as a baby, taken in 1946.  Angeline was one of the last Civil War widows to receive a pension up till her death in 1946. Silas Garner was a prisoner of War and was at Andersonville. He was a soldier in the 130th Indian Infantry.  I have many pictures of him and his brothers and a picture of Jacob Garner and several of Louisa Smith.

Silas and Allen were apparently twins.
