His wife, not named, was his dependent. He was described as of medium height, medium build, blue eye, brown hair, partly bald.

Liston died at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs; his home in Como. He died 15 Dec 1972 of chronic nephritis; a note says he had one kidney removed many years ago. He was a Stockman. Born 18 Dec 1886 in Fannin Co, TX, he was 85 when he died.

Liston and Stella are buried Ladonia Cemetery, Fannin Co TX.
