The lineage has been accepted by some societies. I could never make dates and places work out for these lineages. Recent DNA studies indicate there was likely no kinship at all to Henry Fox and the West family. Only one descendant of Richard Fox has been tested and he does have another match to a Fox from the early New Orleans area - their Y-DNA is very different from that of descendants of Henry Fox and family.
