386. Samuel COMSTOCK⁵⁶ was born about 1749 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.⁹³ He died on 25 December 1805 at the age of 56 in Fort Anne, Washington County, New York.

Samuel married about 1769 to Sarah Crippen.

Samuel served in a Massachusetts regiment during the Revolution. He settled about the year 1800 in the town of Westfield which was later called Fort Ann.

Samuel COMSTOCK and Sarah CRIPPEN were married about 1769. Sarah CRIPPEN⁵⁶, daughter of John CRIPPEN and Mary RICHMOND, was born on 14 February 1748 in Egremont, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.⁹³ She died on 7 December 1832 at the age of 84 in Fort Anne, Washington County, New York.

Sarah was the daughter of John Crippen; a sister of Roswell Crippen.
