World War II Enlistment Records:
Hardy E. Comstock, born 1917, born Arkansas. Listed as residing Multnomah Co, Oregon. Enlisted at Ft. Riley, Kansas, 28 Jan 1946 as a Sergeant in the Cavalry. He enlisted in the Hawaiian Department. He had three years of high school and his occupation was Pipe Fitter. In the enlistment record transcription, his height given as 97 and his weight as 450 - both of which must surely be errors - or standard measurement was not used.

Hardy Earl COMSTOCK and Gladys Vera MORTON were married on 10 March 1936 in Crawford County, Arkansas.^459,530 They^459,530 were divorced in 1952.⁵³⁰ Gladys Vera MORTON⁵³⁰, daughter of Rufus MORTON and Lona E. GULLEY, was born in 1918.⁴⁷³ She died in 1988 at the age of 70.⁴⁷³ Gladys buried at Uniontown Cemetery, Crawford Co AR.
