125. Abijah COMSTOCK was born on 19 November 1721 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He died in June 1797 at the age of 75 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Abijah and his four sons fought against the British at the burning of Norwalk by Gen. Tryon, 11 Jul 1779.
Abijah owned a slave, Cesar, who died in 1773 leaving a will which gave most of his belongings to his master and his master's children. Many of his possessions existed of books - although he did not sign his name. He did leave items to two fellow slaves. His master, Abijah Comstock, was appointed as executor.
