8. Daniel COMSTOCK was born in 1653 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.¹⁴ He was baptized on 9 April 1671.¹⁸ He died on 24 April 1746 at the age of 93 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.^14,39

Daniel and Elizabeth were married by Gurdon Saltonstall; Congregational Church

Daniel COMSTOCK and Elizabeth PRENTICE were married on 23 May 1700 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.^14,16,40 Elizabeth PRENTICE was born on 6 November 1675 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.¹⁴ She died on 13 December 1770 at the age of 95 in New London, New London County, Connecticut.¹⁴

Daniel COMSTOCK and Elizabeth PRENTICE had the following children:

48	iv.	Thomas COMSTOCK⁴¹ was born on 25 March 1710.^16,41 He died in 1738 at the age of 28.⁴¹ Married Eliza Ward 13 Mar 1727 Lost in hurricane at Nevis, 1738.

50	vi.	Jonathan COMSTOCK⁴¹ was born on 28 July 1714.^16,41 He died before March 1756 at the age of 41.⁴¹ Inventory of estate 8 Mar 1756.
