In 1850, John is part of the household of William & Elizabeth Brown. In 1860, he is married, wife named Mary with a baby daughter. In 1850 there is another boy, William M. Warren, age 13, who must be a grandson of William & Elizabeth; by 1860 he is also married with a baby daughter. He enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1862 and had the ends of two fingers shot off.
