2. John BOWMAN⁸ was born about 1765.⁶ He died about 1839 at the age of 74.⁶

Madison Co KY Court Orders, Book B: 7 Jul 1796: John Bowman and Elijah Bowman were two of the commissioners ordered to view a way for a road from Archibald Woods mill seat on Muddy Creek to intersect the Muddy Creed road near William Goodlows.

John BOWMAN and Sarah SMITH were married.⁴ Sarah SMITH⁴, daughter of EDWARD SMITH and CATHERINE STUMPH, was born about 1768.⁶

John BOWMAN and Sarah SMITH had the following children:

14	iii.	Elisha BOWMAN⁶ was born about 1790.⁶ Married Ann Evans about 1810 in Clay Co KY.
