Zelota Spears married Samuel Allen 17 Mar 1850.

In the 1850 Vigo Co IN Census, is a "Samuel" Allen, age 55, born in New York married to a Zelota, age 50, also born in New York. There is no indication that there was another Allen of this family, near this age, named Samuel.

Information from a descendant of Nathan Spears states that he married again - censuses show Nathan, wife Martha, and children. Apparently Zelota and Nathan divorced.
