Moses Allen - His Ancestors and Descendants

Moses Allen was a private in the Duchess County, New York militia in the Revolution. His son Peter Buell Allen was a pioneer in western New York and then in Indiana in the new "Western Territories". Grandson Peter Buell Allen, Jr. was an early settler in Arkansas Territory circa 1840.

Walter Allen is believed to be the first ancestor of Moses Allen to immigrate to America.
He was born about 1601 in England and is found in Newbury, Massachusetts, by 1640.
