Note to Woolverton's! I have been in touch with a son of Lester Woolverton, a daughter of Lester Woolverton, daughter of Raymond Woolverton. Note to Carol Woolverton, daughter of Lester, your email address does not work, please contact me. Also I have been in touch with Edward Woolverton's grandson. This is good news and our family tree is growing.
~Our Family Surnames Paternal & Maternal~ Ashton, Carter, Chester, Beck, Draher, Eyles, McFarland, Morrison, Oxford, Radar, Scott, Smith, Snyder, Southard, Sparks, Woodard, Woolverton, Worden, Shearman, Also see Partial Surname List For Relationship.
Also please note that I have tons of information on the Morrison's and Smith's and hope to be posting that soon, along with some updated information on the McFarland's.
These Surnames above are the Surnames I am researching at this time, they are all in my direct line on my maternal and paternal side. This site only post names of the deceased with exception to me and my parents. Some names above have not been yet posted to my site because I am in the process of updating my site. If you find a name that you think is part of your family please contact me so we can exchange information.
~Not In My Line But By Marriage~
Two other names that I would enjoy information on is White and Pope. White is my husband's last name and Pope is my children's last name, I also have been trying to gather information on these families also. Click on White and Pope to see what I have on these two families, which I must warn is not much at all.
So far my research has included, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Indiana and England, Scotland. On my paternal side we are English, Irish, German and Scotch. On my maternal side we are English, German and Scotch.
If you think you are beaten, you are;If you think you dare not, you don't If you'd like to win, but think you can't It's almost a cinch you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost, For out in the world we find Success begins with a fellow's will; It's all in the state of mind Life's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man But soon or late the man who wins is the one who thinks he can.
Genealogist's Prayer Lord, help me dig into the past, And sift the sands of time, That I might find the roots that made This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient roads, On which my father's trod, And led them through so many lands, To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find and ancient book, Or dusty manuscript, That's safely hidden now away, In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts My soul, when I can find The missing link between some name That ends the same as mine. ~Author Unknown~
The ancestry report uses 'Ahnentafel' numbering. This means that a person's parent's numbers will be twice as large as the person's number. So if someone's number is 15, her father will be number 30, and mother will be 31. Her child will be number 7.
