OF SUFFIELD. 

  3dly. Allowed to Dudley Kent, William Hambletons Rates what he had not collected before he went away, ye, sd Dudley Kent giving Security to pay it again to ye Town if ever he hath opportunity to collect the same.
  4thly. Allowed Cpt Winchel, William King and Samll Kent ye 3d, Select Men, Ten shillings each for Time spent Reckoning with the Town Treasurer.
  5thly. Allowed Leiut Joseph King Eight Shillings for keeping the Select Men whilst they were making up a Reckoning with them.
  6thly. Allowed to those of the Select men that perambulated the line with Springfield & Westfield six Shillings pr Day.
  7thly. Voted, to allow William King seven shillings for going to Windsor for a School Master.
  8th. Allowed to John King,* Doctor John Drews Rates, he giving security to the Town for to pay them the same if he has opportunity to collect them.
  9thly. Voted, to allow Nathan" Pumroy five shillings for five Loads of poles.
  10th. Voted, to allow Thos: Copley fourteen shillings for Timber.
  11th. Voted, to allow those of ye Select men and Capt Winchel five shillings a Day for going with ye Comitioners to Run the Line.
  12th. Allowed to Jacob Adams Eight shillings in Money for Nails for the Meeting House, and for writing a bond & time spent in the Towns service, Eight shillings & six pence.
  13th. Voted, to allow ye Reverend Mr Ebenezer Devotion Eighty pounds in Town pay over and above his stated Sallery in Regard of ye fall of money.
  14th. Allowed Leiut Jonathan Shelden 12s for going to Northamton for a School
  15th. Voted, to Raise Sixty pounds in Town pay for Defraying Town Charges.
  16th. Voted, that the Select men Do something as they shall think best about fencing clearing, & laying out ye Buring Yeard.
  17th.  Voted, that Capt Winchel, Deacon Mixer & Samll Kent ye 3d, Do consider if they think best to move some persons in the Meeting House for their more convenient Sitting.
  18th. Voted, for ye Select men to Request of ye Reverend Mr Ebenezer Devotion a copy of his Last Thanksgiving Day Sermon ¥ & to take care to get it printed at ye cost & charge of ye Town & to get 400 books printted & that every family be supplyed with a Book, and that every single person that pays Rates by himself have one book, & the Remainder of ye 400 books be at ye Desposing of ye Town as they please.
  19th. Voted, that ye Select Men Do consider & allow Abraham Burbank, ¥¥
