Richard Corey BECKWITH, Jr., a charter member of the
Raynor Family Association, a lifelong resident of Quogue, NY., died January
12, 1999. He was 76. Born April 23, 1922 to George Corey and
Anna Raynor BECKWITH, his grandfather was Clarence Russell (Russ) Raynot of Westhampton Beach, a direct descendant of
Thurston RAYNOR (1593-1665).
Graduate of Westhampton Beach High School, a Navy
Veteran of WWII, Dick was a member of the Quogue Fire Department
for nearly 60 years. Wife Marjorie, daughter Cheryl VAN TUYLE, son
Richard and granddaughters Mikayla and Amanda; and his brother Douglas
survive him.
