Patty's Hashbrown Casserole

2 lb. bag Oreida frozen hashbrowns
1 pint sour cream
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
salt to taste
Topping:
3 cups crushed Corn Flakes
1 stick margarine. melted

Combine ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 13"x9" buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Let sit for fifteen minutes before serving.
